Military Field Flow Transfer Standard (FTS)

The Exact Flow Transfer Standard (FTS) provides a method of calibrating field flow meters. It has been configured to provide viscosity compensation for five different selectable fuels. A temperature sensor is imbedded into the flow meter body, which is used to determine the viscosity of the fuel being measured.

The FTS has a battery life indicator, fuel selection interface board, and rate/resettable total display indicator. It also incorporates a battery time saver, which shuts off the system after 15 minutes of non-use. The unit will remain on if it senses any system activity.

The Exact dual-rotor master meter has been calibrated to represent Jet-A, JP-5, JP-8 and Diesel #1 & #2. The flow meter has Cam Lock end-fittings, and there is a particulate filter screen, on the inlet, to prevent particulates from passing through the rotors. The FTS system is in a protective container suitable for storage and transportation.
