Exact™ Series: Excellence In Aerospace Flow Measurement

Exact Flow delivers a diverse range of integrated flow, temperature and pressure sensor systems in lightweight, compact packaging for aerospace applications. These unique aerospace flowmeter systems repeat within 0.02% with a linear output of ±0.01% of reading, while delivering extended range performance and superior Universal Viscosity Curve (UVC) flow ranges of up to 60:1 turndown.

A key development is the Model ALDR turbine flowmeter. This aluminum-bodied, dual rotor turbine flowmeter is intended for applications found in Formula 1 race cars and combat aircraft. Its unique design incorporates an integral ExactComp EC80 flow computer and embedded pickoffs, enabling smaller packaging, lighter weight and greater reliability in high-vibration installations.

In addition, the Model ALDR's superior embedded pickoff coils withstand vibration typically found in the automotive and aerospace industry by reducing mass and size. This feature is combined with the advantage of not having to use flow straighteners, as a result of the dual rotor canceling out fluid swirl effects – delivering a flowmeter package that will fit in limited space.

Qualifications

While meeting the most rigorous aerospace demands, the Exact dual-rotor has been certified to MIL-STD-704E, MIL-STD-461E, MIL-STD-810 and DO-178 Level A. Exact turbine flowmeters have also obtained certification to NUPIC.
